The following have been taken from festival websites where "Special Thanks..." has played: A beautiful portrait of a
life as seen through the eyes of the people he affected. flipjoint Thought-provoking. A real portrayal of an acting “guru”
who inspired each students (many Oscar winners) to reach their potential. Uplifting stories of empowerment for
women. Touches on the realities
surrounding death and dying…and ultimately on love and how to live life to the
fullest. Itsallgood Outstanding
documentary. It kept me interested
from start to finish. mysticwlt I entered this movie
nonchalantly, but left so thought-provoked, inspired and awed that all I could
mutter to the director as I walked out was, “Thanks.” The message is universal. Roy could really be considered a “life coach” in a time when
we are all seeking to learn more about ourselves. Of course the interviews are amazing – honest and real. Definitely recommend. Sassy Your
film tribute to Roy London affected me very much. I was very struck by Roy London’s passion for helping people
to be themselves and to achieve that in community. It did not seem to be a
selfish indulgence he encouraged but an enabling self-fulfilment in relating to
others. The task of putting all the material you had into ninety minutes of absorbing
viewing was a real tour de force.
The result was truly impressive and we are so glad we came to the screening. GDavies
